Demo a new member account

As a reseller, you may need to test or demo ViewMedica for a client before they are ready to go live.

Instead of starting billing right away, you can place the client’s account in Development (Dev) Mode. This lets you or the client fully integrate and test ViewMedica without charges beginning until the account goes live.

Put a member account in dev mode

  1. Log in to your reseller account. Pending accounts are listed on your Dashboard.

  2. Click the "Develop" button next to the member account you want to set up for testing.

  3. Test the ViewMedica service. You will receive an email noting the change of status for that account. This email has all the information you or your new member needs to embed ViewMedica on their site (On-Demand) or preview on their TV (VMcast). The member's account will work as normal, but there will be a watermark on all the videos. You will not be charged.

Once your client is ready, return to the member account and activate the account. The cost of this account will be added to your monthly billing, and the account will move to the Active Accounts listing.


Note

Development mode has a time limit of 30 days.
