With the desktop application, you don’t need a web browser to watch your videos. The desktop app also lets you save videos to a favorites list to quickly access the content you use the most.
Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.
From your dashboard, click the “For Mac Computers” link under the “Download On-Demand apps” section.
When the download is finished, find and click the “ViewMedica.dmg” file in your “Downloads” folder or from the “Downloads” icon in your dock.
Drag the “ViewMedica On-Demand” app icon to your “Applications” folder.
Double click the “Applications” folder. Find the “ViewMedica On-Demand” app and drag it to your dock.
Click back on the ViewMedica.dmg window. In your menu bar, select “File” and then “Eject.”
Click the “ViewMedica On-Demand” icon in your dock to launch the application.
Log in using your limited access login found on your ViewMedica.com account dashboard. You can also use your ViewMedica username and password. The ViewMedica desktop app will only require you to log in once.
Note
Periodically, you may be prompted to update the application when new versions are released. ViewMedica automatically checks for updates every time the application is started.
