Use content notes to provide practice-specific information about a video topic. Whether you promote your ancillary services or clarify points important to you, the text in the content note is yours to create. People will see the message at the beginning of the video in the On-Demand player. The note will display for all languages.
Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.
Click “On-Demand“ in the left menu. A number of options will appear. Click “Video Notes.”
If this is your first video note, click the “Create New Note + “ button. If not, click the “Create New +” button that is in the grey bar for the Notes section. A window will open that has blank fields for your new note.
Give your note a headline. This headline will be seen at the top of your note. An example might be “From your doctor” or personalize the title with your name or practice name.
Type or paste your text into the “Note Body” field. There is no limit to the length of text you put in this field, but try not to put too much. Keep notes as precise and helpful as possible. Your users will thank you!
Click the “Save” button to save the note.
Now you need to attach the note to one of your ViewMedica videos. The note you created shows in the list of all your video notes. Click the “Attachments” link next to the note title.
Open a library to get to your subscribed videos. Find and click on the video titles you want your note attached to. You can select more than one video at a time. Items that already have an attached note will be greyed out and you will not be able to attach another note there. Click the “Save Attachments” button.
To preview your change, click the “Launch Player” link in the left-side On-Demand menu. Now, each time you play the assigned video, it will show your note.
Note
To remove a note, you can deselect it from the video it is attached to in the "Attachments" window. Or, you can click the “Remove” button (minus) for the note. The "Remove" button will delete the note and remove it from ALL videos it is attached to.
