The video upload feature is included for some accounts. Other accounts may need to add video upload space to their subscription for an additional fee.

From the loop, presentation, collection, or bumpers builder

  1. Click the “Add Videos” button and select the “Create Video” option.

  2. Click “Upload Video”.

  3. Give the video a title. This title will be seen in the ViewMedica menu system. Use a descriptive name so you and your patients can easily find it.

  4. Upload your video in one of two ways – drag and drop, or find it on your computer.

    Drag and drop
Grab the video file from your computer desktop and drag it onto the “Add a Video” area in this window.

    Find on your computer
Click the “Add a Video” area to bring up the “My Media” window. Click the “Add New Media” button to bring up your computer’s file structure. Navigate to your video file, select it, and click “Open” or “Upload.”

    Note

Accepted video types are mp4, m4v, web, mov, avi, or wmv files. Video size can be no larger than 500MB. Make sure your video file name doesn't have spaces.

  5. Your video will be uploaded and processed to work best with our system. Depending on the file size, it may take some time for the video file to be processed. Video not uploading?

  6. (Optional) If you have a captions file for this video, you can enter the WEBVTT captions URL in the field next to the video preview.

    Note
The captions file must have CORS (Cross-origin resource sharing) allowed for viewmedica.com in order to function.

  7. Click the “Save” button in the upper right-hand of the screen. The video slide is now available and added to the bottom of your builder list.

  8. (Optional) Click and drag the video slide to a new position in the list to change the order of your loop, presentation, or collection.

Note

Video slides are available under "My Saved Videos" in your account. Learn more about managing custom content.
