The VMcast app needs your location to get the correct weather data for weather slides. The app can use U.S. zip codes, or latitude and longitude coordinates to set your location. Here’s how you can get your coordinates.

From LatLong.net

  1. Go to latlong.net and type in your location. (Example: City, Country)

  2. Click “Find” and your latitude and longitude will display.

From Google Maps

  1. Go to google.com/maps and search for your location.

  2. Right-click the marker for your location or area on the map.

  3. Your latitude and longitude are at the top of the list options. If not, select “What’s here?”

  4. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a card with your coordinates. The first number is latitude and the second number is longitude.

See our tutorial on how to add weather slides to your VMcast.
