Reinstall the VMcast app

Here's how to reinstall the VMcast app on the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

To reinstall the app, you will need to uninstall it first.

  1. Press and hold the Home (⌂) button on the Fire TV Stick remote for a few seconds. A quick access menu should appear covering the entire screen.

  2. Select "Apps."

  3. Highlight the "VMcast" app tile. DO NOT SELECT IT.

  4. Press the options ( ≡ ) button on the Fire TV Stick remote. A menu should appear in the bottom right of your screen.

  5. Go to the bottom of this list and select "Uninstall."

  6. Confirm that you want to uninstall the app.

If you still experience playback issues after reinstalling the VMcast app, you may need to update the Amazon FireOS.
