What do the VMcast statuses mean?

In the VMcast Control Center, each stream has an indicator allowing you to see its status at a glance – Playing, Idle or Offline.

What does PLAYING mean?

Playing (green) means Control Center has connected to your streaming device, and the stream is playing a loop.

What does IDLE mean?

Idle (yellow) means Control Center has connected to your streaming device. The VMcast app is running, but VMcast is in menu mode, waiting for someone to click play on a loop.

What does OFFLINE mean?

Offline (red) means Control Center cannot connect to your streaming device.

  • Someone may have turned the TV or device off.

  • There could be a Wi-Fi problem.

  • Your VMcast app may not be running on the device.
